Overall Days Manager

FACTS
Responsible for:	All Days exec members, all Days team members the overall running of the Days events.
Liases with:	Students’ Union managers, tech staff, Societies.
Date recruited:	Week 1 of Term 3

BRIEF:
The Days element takes place in the University every day from Monday to Saturday of One World Week, and each day has a different theme. Historically taking place in the Union, this year offers the Overall Day Manager the unique opportunity to bring a fresh vision and perspective to this element. The overall Days manager chairs the Days exec meetings, and takes responsibility for every event which occurs, including all themed days, the events and societies involved therein, and the World buffet. He/she must have a total awareness and vision of the whole day events schedule, and should be able to coordinate all events and support all the exec and team members in the Days element. From the start of term 3, he/she will plan all the events carefully, and from the start of summer onwards will coordinate the Days exec effectively and report all progress to the coordinators. In the few days before and during the Week itself, this role requires full attendance and commitment

EXAMPLE TASKS:
- Planning, coordinating and supervising all the Days events of OWW. -Addressing the entire Union - Multiple meetings with Union officials

CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT:
Past OWW Days experience, commitment, high levels of energy, enthusiasm and creativity, team leadership qualities, an acute knowledge of the Union’s workings.
