Overall Nights Manager
 
FACTS
Responsible for: Nights Exec members, all Nights team members, the overall running of the Nights events on campus
Liases with: Students’ Union managers, Technical staff, Arts Centre officials.
Date recruited: Week 1, Term 3
 
BRIEF:

The Overall Nights manager is somewhat analogous to the Overall Days Manager and carries with it the responsibility of all Night events on campus, including the Fashion Show, Carnival, Union Entertainments and World Party.
He/she chairs the Nights exec meetings and ensures that each event runs smoothly, whilst reporting all progress to the coordinators.

Planning begins in term 3, work continues all summer, and begins in earnest in term 1. In the run-up to the Week and during the Week itself, this role requires full attendance and commitment.

The Overall Nights Manager also organises all artists and musicians for the Union events.
 
EXAMPLE TASKS:

- Dealing with artists and guests

- Addressing the entire Union

- Multiple meetings with Union/Arts Centre officials
 
CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT:
Past OWW Nights experience, high levels of commitment, high levels of energy and enthusiasm, team leadership qualities, an acute knowledge of the Union’s workings.
